They say Christmas should stay with you throughout the year, and there’s one member of our Storm team we feel deserves recognition for keeping the spirit of giving alive beyond the festive season.

Our former director, George, who is still a very familiar face here, has worked tirelessly to assist his good friend Ian Taylor in fundraising for Mary Stevens Hospice and Macmillan Cancer Support over the past ten years. We totalled up the amount he has raised in that time and together, their decade of donations amount to a staggering £108,000!

Anyone who has been involved in fundraising will understand, it’s no easy feat to plan and execute a successful charity event and raise money for a good cause. It takes time, determination and perseverance even before the event itself takes place.

We’re sure their generosity will continue, and we will keep you posted of any future fundraising endeavours the two cook up.
