We have to take a moment to thank a wonderful man who unwittingly (but most graciously) has become the star of our corporate video.

Back at the beginning of the year, pre COVID, we were planning an installation of secondary glazing at the beautiful home of Mr. B.

We thought it would be a perfect project to showcase our work and asked an innocent question at the time – ‘could we please take some video footage of your window installation?’.

Little did either of us know at this point what this would involve, but we were thrilled when Mr B. agreed to our video company joining us during the installation to document our work.

It seemed a long wait for the day to arrive when we could safely complete the task with video crew in tow, but we finally arranged a filming date for September.

On installation day, however, Mr. B was thrust into the spotlight (much to our, and his, surprise)!

The wonderful video team at Quill Creations wanted to include some shots of a client consultation, and portray how we work with homeowners throughout the installation process.

Mr. B was, therefore, asked to take centre-stage in a series of shots. Greeting us at the door, showing us around his home, sitting and chatting to show our consultation process, even delivering us a cup of tea as we worked!

He hadn’t been prepped for this at all, but took direction like a seasoned actor and was a complete natural.

We honestly couldn’t have asked for a more helpful and accommodating star, so thank you Mr B, from the bottom of our hearts.

The video is now in the final editing stages and we’re hoping to premiere it in the next newsletter, so watch this space!
