No. 22 Grosvenor Gardens, in a Conservation Area in the City of Westminster, forms part of a grand Victorian terrace in the heart of Belgravia.
Originally an elegant dwelling house, with accommodation spread across four floors, the attic once provided room for servants. The terrace was designed by Thomas Cundy III in the French Renaissance style as part of a redevelopment of the area in the 1860s. The neighbouring Grosvenor Gardens House was one of London’s first serviced apartment blocks.
No 22 has had multiple uses over the decades since, with many of the building’s original features being lost. Recently, it served as a sixth form college, before the building’s owners Grosvenor Estates Belgravia commissioned Bennetts Associates to redevelop the property. It has now been transformed into a high-specification modern workspace with restored period features.

With sustainability and energy efficiency to the fore, Storm Windows were approached to install 118 units in total. Working with both Bennetts Associates and leading London contractors, Buxton Building Contractors, the windows will be installed in 4 phases from Spring 2025.
To achieve the degree of thermal efficiency and aesthetic results the developers were looking for, Storm will be installing a mixed variety of LVSS, shaped circular slimline, slimline, and horizontal sliding units.
This is an exciting project in an iconic central London location which we’re very happy to be involved in.
