Kerry has been at Storm for ten years, and plays a vital role in our sales department as well as handling all health and safety aspects of the company – which is obviously of great importance to a company like ours! Here, she tells us what her job involves, and what she enjoys most about her job.
“My sales role means that I am the first point of contact for many customers, as I answer enquiries on the phone and email, issue surveys and then am involved in the administration that comes with each job, such as preparing quotes and order forms, as well as reports and schedules.
I also manage our sales database and prepare our sales literature to ensure we are keeping customers and potential clients up to date with everything we offer, and generating new sales leads. Managing the company’s health and safety means that I carry out safety audits, assessments and reviews, and ensure compliance with our CHAS certification.
I enjoy the diversity of my job, and speaking to the wide variety of people it brings me into contact with. No two phone calls are the same – in one, I can be talking to Mr Smith who lives in a lovely Victorian terrace, the next could be from a Lord living in a huge moated castle! “
Outside of work, Kerry is married with an eight-year-old son. She tied the knot in Vegas, with Elvis doing the honours (she swears he was the real one!) She’s a season ticket holder at Wasps RFC.
