My time is split between travelling the country surveying properties and meeting potential customers. This will include walking around the home and giving my opinions on the best solutions for the property in terms of the secondary glazing and also discussing the installation techniques with the homeowner.

I then revisit the property to carry out the installation. This is really beneficial as it enables me to manage a job from start to finish.  It’s also really satisfying to see the difference our finished product makes to people’s properties.

I have been working for storm for over 8 years now, having started in the manufacturing department. This has given me a full understanding of the products we sell and how they are produced , and to understand how they can be altered to treat more specialist types of window. It’s always nice to see a new challenge and be able to engineer new ideas.

Favourite part of the job

As a reputable company dealing with listed buildings, we are chosen suppliers to many National Trust buildings and are recommended by conservation officers to domestic properties as well, so I really enjoy travelling the country and seeing a wide range of  fantastic properties.

Additionally, I do a lot of work in London where some of our main commercial contracts are. It’s always nice to complete a job knowing our discreet system looks fantastic and also has huge benefits to a resident.
