We’re already feeling positive about what 2021 will bring and have grown our team in readiness for the work ahead.
Eighteen-year-old George joined us at the end of last year and has been working alongside Oliver as a Surveyor/Fitter Apprentice.
He’s doing a fantastic job already and we’re thrilled to have him on board.
About George:
- George lives at home in the West Midlands with his two sisters.
- He loves everything sport and plays for Pedmore Cricket Club (although he tells us they have mixed success when it comes to winning!).
- He has an obsession with cycling (don’t mention bikes or you won’t get away).
George spends most of his time discussing window solutions with clients, ensuring Storm is providing the perfect product for their needs. He then helps measure up on-site and create templates for our manufacturing team before fitting the end product once made.
It’s fair to say we’re keeping him busy! Fortunately, he seems to be loving the work – especially the client-facing role making sure every detail is covered which, apart from lunch, he says is his favourite part of the job.
Welcoming new people to our team is always special, expanding our business while introducing new ideas, talent and personality. George certainly ticks all those boxes and is proving himself a great fit, as well as a great fitter.
