Storm’s unique approach to secondary glazing provides a discreet and sensitive solution to achieving a more efficient property both thermally and acoustically.
Planning and listed building regulations restrict what can be done to older properties, our bespoke secondary glazing has been designed to make it virtually invisible – both internally and externally, so does not contravene listed restrictions, and our magnetic system helps create a thermal break preventing cold transferring from the primary glazing.
Our system is predominantly a magnetic system, making it easy to operate and remove for cleaning and maintenance and also reduces the need for visible fixings, helping us to maintain an aesthetically-pleasing finish.
Made to measure
Our windows are individually measured and individually hand crafted – not mass produced – and are also engineered to extremely close tolerances.
If your window is slightly ‘out of square’ then ours will be too.
We do not use bulky wooden sub-frames – the whole idea of our system is to make it virtually invisible – both internally and externally.
The light-gauge aluminium framework is powder-coated in any RAL or BS number to compliment the interior decor and/or existing primary windows.
