Creating a Quieter, Warmer Georgian Town House
georgian period home
curved window glass and frames, conservation guidelines
noise pollution and heat retention
handmade frames and innovative curved secondary glazing
This 1890s townhouse in Stirling has beautiful, original curved bay windows at the front. Ageing frames and thin original glass were letting heat out and unwanted noise in.
Using the latest secondary glazing technology, we installed three curved lower vertical sliding sash units and seven curved slim fixed units into each bay window.
