Homeowners can now reap the rewards of warmer, more cost-efficient homes without the stress of a substantial initial outlay, by fitting secondary glazing on an affordable payment plan.
The introduction of a new finance scheme means Storm customers can now spread the cost of installation, interest free over 12 months, and enjoy the long-term cash benefits of reducing heat loss and shrinking winter bills.
Here at Storm, we know the fitting of our secondary glazing panels pays dividends for private customers over time, but feedback we were receiving suggested homeowners wanted an alternative method of payment to spread the cost and ease the budgetary burden that paying in one lump sum can cause.
It’s something not many specialist glazing companies offer and has been months in the planning, but we can now reveal we are approved suppliers of Hitachi finance.
A finance application can be submitted for sums between £1,500 and £25,000 with an easy application process and quick responses. Confirmation of eligibility is often received in just 30 minutes.
A third of the total supply and installation cost is required as a deposit with the remaining two-thirds financed interest free over a year.
Storm Director, Jayne Griffiths, said: “We’ve spoken to so many homeowners of listed and period properties who absolutely recognise the benefits of our secondary glazing system, but the lack of a finance option for payment is a stumbling block for them going ahead with work.
“It has been a significant investment for us to make this available, but we want to be as flexible and accommodating as possible.
“Now, payment of a deposit and approval from our finance partner will allow us to schedule in and complete installations. Customers only start paying the finance once the glazing is in place and they are completely satisfied with the work.
“We’re hoping more period property owners will now be able to access our service and be confident that they are getting the best quality products in their homes that will lead to significant long-term savings.”
