Our team has built up considerable expertise and a practical understanding of historic windows.
While often being highly attractive and characterful, they do present a range of unique challenges for property owners. We’re always happy to share this knowledge and learn from other practitioners and experts in the heritage property field.
This September we’ll be in attendance at Through the Looking Glass: A Future for Historic Windows, a two-day conference and evening gathering being held at The Slate in Coventry.
It will bring together experts in the history, repair and retrofitting of historic windows, as well as those designing and manufacturing new windows for historic properties. The focus of the event will be how to effectively insulate draught sash and casement windows, with discussions and demonstrations of some of the technologies available.
Our director, Mitchell Reece, will be giving a talk about secondary glazing systems at the event on Saturday afternoon. Other members of the Storm team will be on hand during the two days to demonstrate our products and answer any questions.
We’re looking forward to meeting with friends old and new, finding out about new developments and following the discussions.
We hope to see some of you there.
